“Our second time staying, this time for two nights. Had a lovely room. Quiet and peaceful. A really good night's sleep. Staff were polite but we didn't really need/see them other than walking past the reception desk and checking in and out.”

“We recently held a board meeting at The Comet Hotel, and once again, the team looked after us impeccably. The service was seamless from start to finish, and the staff ensured we had everything we needed throughout the day. The food was exceptional. We opted for a working lunch, and the selection of hot sandwiches was to die for. The St. Thomas Brie & Red Onion Marmalade sandwich was extraordinary — not something you would normally say about a brie sandwich, but it truly stood out. The star of the show, however, was the Sliced Roast Beef Sandwich with red onion marmalade, rocket, and creamed horseradish. Absolutely outstanding. It’s always a pleasure to return to The Comet Hotel. Being consistently welcomed by such lovely staff and receiving the same high quality of food and service time after time is rare these days — and very much appreciated. Highly recommended.”

“A very nice stay. The building we were in was newer. It was clean, had AC and an amazing large, hot shower. They also have a restaurant/bar with friendly service. The bar area is wonderful with lots of space and different lounging options. One of the better stays I’ve had while traveling.”
